- Mary Poppins and Bert, the chimney sweep, have made at least 6-8 appearances in our household per day, which totals a minimum of 180 re-enactments of Mary Poppins, complete with accessories, dancing, and singing
- John and I took a weekend getaway to St. Louis, during which a phone call home introduced us to Winthrop and Amaryllis as well as Marian and Professor Harold Hill from The Music Man
- "76 Trombones" has now been added to the daily singing/marching repertoire
- A LOT of basketball was watched with family and friends
- Food has been baked, cooked, and consumed. Here are a few of the treats we've tasted, but haven't photographed:
- Whole What Banana Oatmeal Pancakes, with coconut oil
- Dairy-free Homemade Peanut Butter Cups, with coconut oil
- Lemon, Spinach, Orzo Soup (I made it without chicken)
- Baked Chicken Tenders - using this idea, I marinated ours in a yogurt and green salsa combo, then coated them with crushed blue tortilla chips
- Easter festivities provided for fun-in-the-sun with family... as well as a sugar-high that could not be defeated (and continued until 9:30 at night... listening to the girls sing "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" in super-speed truly was amazing. Yet another reason why we limit sugar-intake, huh?)
- Shoes were purchased
- Plans for next year were made official. As of May 25th, with great excitement, I will begin my next (and most amazing) career: Stay-at-home mom. This fabulous decision for our family could not have been made possible without the dedication and love of my hubby. Like Elise said on the phone yesterday: "Daddy, I love you all the way around the whole wide world and back." She's one smart cookie. :)

A little catch-up...
Let's see... the last post was for St. Patrick's Day (and this over-due post, by the way, is dedicated to Becky. Great to see you and thanks for the much-needed prompt! :). So has anything at all happened since then??? Brief synopsis (followed by pics):
